St. Valentine Prayer Card

"O St. Valentine,

lover of Christ

and of the Church,

we ask your intercession

that we may learn how to love God above all things and to unselfishly love one another.

O glorious St. Valentine,

pray for us, that we too

may have the steadfast faith of the martyrs.

Amen."

Celebrate the faith and courage of St. Valentine, an early Christian martyr who remained devoted to Christ even in the face of persecution. Though many details of his life are unknown, St. Valentine has become a beloved symbol of faithful love, reminding us that true love is rooted in sacrifice, compassion, and the love of God.
